Day 7: Living a Life of Forgiveness
"Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you." - Colossians 3:13
Today marks the culmination of our week-long journey into forgiveness. We’ve learned that forgiveness is not just a one-time act but a continual choice, a lifestyle rooted in Christ’s love.
Living a life of forgiveness means choosing to extend grace daily, even when it’s difficult. It’s about letting go of bitterness, resentment, and anger that can so easily take root. Forgiveness is a reflection of the person we are becoming in Christ, a person who embodies His patience, mercy, and unconditional love.
Forgiveness is a process. Some days will be easier than others, but each step we take in forgiving others transforms us more into His likeness. It opens spaces in our hearts for peace, healing, and divine love to flourish.
Today and every day, decide to live in forgiveness, allowing it to define your relationships and your walk with God. It’s through this lifestyle that we truly reflect Jesus and show the world His love.
Prayer:
Help me, Lord, to live a life of grace and forgiveness every day. Teach me to forgive others as You have forgiven me. Fill my heart with Your love, so I can extend kindness and mercy continually. May my life be a shining testimony of Your grace. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
