Celebrating God's Faithfulness in Every Season
“Mordecai recorded these events, and he sent letters to all the Jews near and far, throughout the provinces of King Xerxes, to establish among them that they should celebrate yearly the memory of these days… This was their way of celebrating their victory, of marking the days when they were saved by God's mighty hand.” — Esther 9:20-22
Today, I reflect on the importance of remembering God’s faithfulness. The victory in Esther’s story wasn’t just about a political rescue, it was about God's divine deliverance. Mordecai and the Jews chose to mark those days each year, not just as a celebration, but as a reminder of God's unfailing love and power to save.
This tradition of remembrance is vital in our walk of faith. It’s a way to honor God's goodness and to rekindle our trust in His promises, especially during challenging times. When we look back at God's faithfulness in our lives, it renews our hope and strengthens our resolve to trust Him for the future.
Celebrate God’s deliverance today, whether in big or small ways. Remember the times He has shown up in your life, brought you through storms, or granted you peace when it seemed impossible. These testimonies remind us that, no matter what we face now, our God is still the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Let’s create our own traditions of gratitude, regularly recalling His goodness and sharing His story with others. Because when we remember, we strengthen our faith and give glory to God.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for Your faithfulness through every season of my life. Help me to remember your mighty acts and to celebrate Your goodness daily. May my gratitude and testimony be a light to others, pointing them to Your love and power. Keep me rooted in Your truth and always mindful of Your divine grace. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
