The Lord: Our Salvation
"Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation." — Isaiah 12:2 (KJV)
Isaiah 12:2 declares: God is my salvation, and because of that, we have every reason to trust Him fully. When fears, doubts, or uncertainties threaten to drown us, this verse offers an anchor; trust in His saving power.
God’s salvation isn’t just about our eternity; it’s about His power to save us from every trial, every trap, and every spirit of fear that seeks to hold us back. When we declare, “The Lord Jehovah is my strength,” we affirm His sovereignty and loving commitment to be our refuge and protector.
His love and power are the foundation of our confidence. When you feel overwhelmed or afraid, speak boldly: “Behold, God is my salvation,” knowing that His strength is enough to uphold you, His love is enough to heal you, and His power is enough to carry you through.
Start each day reaffirming: “The Lord is my salvation; I will trust Him and not be afraid.” In moments of uncertainty, declare His strength over your fears. Remember, salvation is a present reality, His love and power are active in your life today.
Your trust in God can silence every fear and fill your heart with His peace. Your salvation is not just a hope, it's a present reality, because the Lord is your strength, your song, and your salvation.
Prayer:
Father, I thank You that You are my salvation, my fortress in every storm. Help me to trust You fully, to rely on Your strength, and to cast out all fear. Fill my heart with Your peace, and guide my steps today, knowing You are my refuge and my salvation. I will rejoice and be glad in You, my Lord and my God. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
