Embrace New Beginnings in His Unfailing Power
"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland." — Isaiah 43:18-19
Lift your eyes beyond what’s behind and press forward into what God is doing, because He is always about making all things new. Isaiah 43:18-19 is a divine promise: "I am making a way in the wilderness, streams in the wasteland."
“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?" — Isaiah 43:19
God’s work in your life is ongoing. He’s crafting paths in places that seem barren, watering deserts that look dead. Nothing is too dry or too impossible for His power to restore and renew. His love is actively shaping your future, and His presence brings life to what was once lifeless.
Even if you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or exhausted, remember, God is an expert at turning desert into garden, wasteland into stream. Trust that He is working for your good, even when you don’t see immediate results. He is the God of breakthroughs and new beginnings.
Ask Him today: “Lord, show me the new things You are doing in my life.” Look for His streams of hope, small signs of renewal, acts of grace, breakthroughs in your circumstances. Choose to believe that He is making a way, where there seems to be no way and trust His love to bring life to dry and barren places.
His promises are sure. He is always working, always moving, and always making streams in the wasteland. Our God specializes in bringing life where there was death, hope where there was despair. Rest confidently in His ability to do a new thing in you today.
Prayer:
Father, I thank You that You are constantly doing a new thing. Help me to see Your streams of hope, Your pathways in the wilderness. Strengthen my faith to trust Your love, even in dry places, and guide my steps into the abundant life You are birthing. Thank You for making all things new, today, tomorrow, and forever. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
