Seeing with Faith
“Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." — John 20:29
This verse comes from Jesus’ words to Thomas, who doubted until he saw the scars of Christ’s crucifixion. Jesus gently reminds him, and us, that faith is a pathway to blessing. Believing without physical proof requires trust and surrender, but it opens us to experiencing God's presence in deeper ways.
In our daily walk, we may not always have tangible evidence of God’s work in our lives. Yet, Jesus assures us that faith, trusting in what we cannot see, pleases Him and brings blessing. The journey of faith isn’t about sight; it’s about trusting His promises, His character, and His love.
Reflect:
Are there areas in your life where you struggle to believe without seeing? Ask God to strengthen your faith and help you trust His goodness, even when certainty isn’t in sight.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I thank You that in trusting You, I find true blessing. Help me to believe beyond what I can see, trusting in Your promises and Your love. Increase my faith and help me to walk confidently in the unseen truths of Your Word. May my faith be a witness to others of Your grace and power. In Your name, I pray.
