One in Christ
"There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." — Galatians 3:28
In Christ, all divisions fall away. Our identity is rooted not in race, gender, or status, but in the new life we have in Jesus. No matter our background or circumstances, we’re equal at the cross. We have to meet each other at the cross to fully appreciate and understand the true meaning of this verse.
This verse calls us to see beyond the world’s divisions and to embrace each other with love and unity. Jesus’s sacrifice broke down walls of hostility, uniting us as one family, children of God.
Let God’s Word transform how you see others today. Extend love, respect, and kindness to everyone, regardless of differences, because we’re all one in Him. We may have differences, but they need not separate us and cause harmful divisions and violence. Jesus calls us to live out the unity He purchased through His blood.
Prayer:
Father, thank You that in Christ, we are all one. Help me to see others through Your eyes, to love with Your heart and to walk in unity with those willing to meet me at the cross. Help me to lead people to the cross, at Your feet, so they can find the joy and love found only in You. Fill me with Your Spirit so I can reflect Your love and show the world that in You, we are truly one. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
