Led by the Spirit
“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” - Romans 8:14 (KJV)
To be a child of God is to be led by His Spirit. This leadership is steady, gentle, and sure. The Spirit leads through Scripture, conviction, wisdom, and peace.
Many struggle to discern God’s will because they expect dramatic signs, yet often the Spirit speaks in quiet promptings. He aligns our hearts with God’s Word and directs our steps accordingly. The more we walk with Him, the more clearly we recognize His voice.
Being led by the Spirit also requires trust. He may lead you where you would not naturally go; into forgiveness, into sacrifice, into obedience that stretches your comfort. But His leading is always good, always purposeful, and always rooted in God’s love.
To live Spirit-saturated is to relinquish control. It is to say, “Not my will, but Yours be done,” and trust that His direction is better than your own.
Prayer:
Father, help me to follow Your Spirit’s leading. Quiet my fears and strengthen my trust. Guide my steps in Your truth today. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
