Day 4: Forgiving Ourselves
"As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us." - Psalm 103:12
Today, we focus on an often-overlooked area of forgiveness, that of ourselves. Many of us carry guilt, shame, or regret over past mistakes, feeling unworthy of love or forgiveness. But here’s an encouraging truth: God's love is greater than any mistake we’ve made.
When God forgives, He removes our sins completely, "as far as the east is from the west." That means our guilt is not only forgiven but forgotten by Him. His love covers everything, every error, every failure, every regret.
The enemy often tries to trap us in accusations and shame, but God's grace liberates us. His forgiveness is total, and He lovingly releases us from guilt. We are called to accept that forgiveness and walk forward in freedom.
Choose to accept God's grace and release your guilt. Trust that His love has made you clean, and no mistake defines your worth.
Prayer:
Father, help me to accept Your forgiveness fully. Remove my guilt and shame, and remind me that in Your eyes, I am made new. Help me to let go of the past and walk in the freedom that comes from Your love. Thank You for loving me unconditionally and forgiving me completely. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
