Courage to Boldly Approach God’s Purpose
“Then Queen Esther answered, ‘If I have found favor with you, Your Majesty, and if it pleases you, grant me my life, this is my petition. And spare my people, this is my request…’” — Esther 7:3-6
I am moved by Esther’s courage. Faced with a life-and-death situation, she didn’t stay silent or shrink back in fear. Instead, she boldly and humbly stepped into her divine purpose, asking the king to save her people.
Esther’s willingness to risk everything to stand for what is right reminds me that true bravery often requires us to confront uncomfortable truths and take bold steps of faith. She understood that her purpose was ultimately greater than her personal safety, and she trusted in God’s provision.
Her story encourages me to examine where I might need the courage to speak up, stand firm, or prioritize God’s calling over my comfort. It’s easy to stay silent when facing opposition, but like Esther, I am called to trust that God will guide and protect me as I obey Him.
I pray for the courage to approach God's throne with boldness and humility, knowing that when I align my will with His, I am stepping into His divine plan, one that can save lives and change destinies.
Prayer:
Lord, give me the courage of Esther. Help me to trust You enough to stand boldly for what is right, even when it’s difficult. May I approach You with humility, knowing that You are my source of strength and purpose. Use my life to bring glory to Your name, and help me to have the faith to ask for Your divine intervention. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
