Day 4 Learning to Start Again

“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?” - Isaiah 43:19 (KJV)

After experiencing spiritual disappointment, many believers feel spiritually paralyzed. They may fear trusting again, serving again, or engaging deeply in church life.

But God is a God of restoration.

Throughout Scripture, God continually calls His people forward into new seasons after painful experiences. Failure, betrayal, or disappointment never have the final word in God’s redemptive story.

Starting over can feel intimidating. Yet often it becomes the place where faith is rebuilt on a deeper and more personal foundation.

When our faith matures beyond dependence on specific people or environments, it becomes anchored in Christ alone.

And that foundation cannot be shaken.

Allow God to lead you forward instead of remaining trapped in past wounds.

Healing often begins with the courage to take the next step.

Prayer:

Lord, give me courage to move forward. Heal the places in my heart that still carry pain and help me embrace the new work You are doing in my life. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
